About Us
Bringing the Island to Houston Since the Start
I’ve always had a passion for cooking. In 2018, I started my first Jamaican food truck in Vermont called Island Spice Authentic Jamaican Restaurant. I only operated in the summertime and worked as a nurse during the winter. When I moved to Houston in 2024, I expanded from a food truck to a full-service restaurant — now known as Epican Authentic Jamaican Restaurant.
